  1. Purpose of the processing and the legal basis for the processing
    The purpose of collecting the data is for Welsh Government to liaise with you on consultations as a stakeholder.  The data will be used to identify you as potentially interested in certain topics and types of consultation or specific stakeholders in a particular area. Under Section 60 of the Government of Wales Act 2006, the Welsh Ministers may do anything which they consider appropriate to achieve the promotion or improvement of the economic and social well-being of Wales.  
     
  2. Any recipient or categories recipients of the personal data (e.g. research organisations or the specific research organisation if it is only ever going to be one)
    This information will be accessed by Welsh Government and its system developers who support and develop the system.  System developers will not use your details in any way. 
     
  3. Retention period or criteria used to determine the retention period
    Your details will be retained on Stakeholder Register until you require them to be removed and decide you no longer want Welsh Government to liaise with you as a Stakeholder through this method.
     
  4. The existence of each of data subjects rights

Your personal data will be processed fairly and lawfully and in a transparent manner under the Data Protection Act and soon to be under the General Data Protection Regulation from May 2018.

Your information will be stored on a Welsh Government system.  If you should want to use another Welsh Government Digital Service in the future you will not need to input this information again.  However you will be prompted when accessing another Welsh Government digital service to accept and agree to the privacy statement for each application registration.
